Rain or shine

Better in any weather

Rain on the cedars, snow on the deck or sun on the mountains. The water stays warm and the forest does the rest.

Some of our favourite days are the wet ones. Mist hangs in the trees, cool rain lands on your face and you're warm right up to your shoulders. A soak turns a grey day into a good one, and after a day on the trails or a night at the campsite, it's the part everyone remembers.

A cold winter night

Frosty air, clouds of steam and the forest lit up around you. The colder it gets, the better it feels.

A rainy spring day

Grab your people and a toque, skip the umbrella and settle in. The rain makes the warm water even better.

Sunshine on the mountains, a long, slow soak and a lounge chair whenever you want a break from the water.

The cold plunge

Hot, cold, repeat.

Slide out of the hot pool, take a few steps and ease into the 8°C cold plunge. Count to ten, laugh at yourself, then sink back into the warm water.

In January the handrails wear a coat of ice. In July it's the best way to cool off after an afternoon in the sun. Either way, it's the part of the visit people talk about on the drive home.

Take it slowGet in gently, stay as long as feels good and get out whenever you like. There's no wrong way to do it.

Questions

Planning your visit

Can't find your answer? Call the front desk at (250) 836-4097.

Do I need to book ahead?

No. Day visitors buy pool passes at the resort when they arrive.

Is Crazy Creek a natural hot spring?

Not quite, and we're fine with that. Our pools are filled with geothermally heated water and kept at 40°C and 37°C all year, with a 32°C pool from May to October. If you were searching for Revelstoke hot springs, you're in the right place: outdoor hot pools 30 minutes west of town, open 9 am to 10 pm every day.

Can I buy passes online?

Not right now. Passes are sold on site only.

Are the pools included with my stay?

Hot pools are included with all cabin guests for the whole stay. Campground guests get special rates: save 20% on a single dip, or up to 55% with a multi-night pass.

What's the difference between a single dip and a day pass?

A single dip lets you stay as long as you like, but once you leave, it's done. A day pass lets you come and go as often as you like throughout the day.

Can we bring the kids?

Yes, kids of all ages are welcome until 9 pm. There's no lifeguard on duty, so children must be accompanied by an adult. From 9 pm to 10 pm the pools are adults only.

Are the pools open in winter?

Yes, every day of the year from 9 am to 10 pm. In winter the 40°C and 37°C pools and the cold plunge are open; the 32°C pool runs May to October. Winter is when the steam is at its best.

How far are the hot pools from Revelstoke?

About 30 minutes. We're west of Revelstoke on the Trans-Canada Highway at 6162 Trans-Canada Highway, Malakwa, BC. Parking is on site.

What else is there to do at Crazy Creek?

Walk the forest trail along the Eagle River, let the kids loose at the playground, or cast a line in the river between soaks. See things to do at Crazy Creek, or plan a group stay for family and friends.
