Eagle River &
Crazy Creek Access

Some of the best moments at Crazy Creek happen relaxing with family and friends beside river and creek. A winding 1.5 km trail through old-growth forest leads from a secluded beach on Crazy Creek all the way down to the Eagle River — two completely different water experiences connected by one beautiful walk.

Crazy Creek lives up to its name with crystal-clear, ice-cold water tumbling over smooth rocks — perfect for a refreshing wade on a warm summer day. Follow the trail through the trees and you'll emerge at the Eagle River, where wide, calm banks and sweeping mountain views make it one of the most peaceful spots in the Shuswap.

Salmon Spawning Season

Late August through early September brings one of nature's most remarkable events to the Eagle River. Watch sockeye salmon make their incredible journey upstream — it's a truly unforgettable sight and a highlight of the season for guests of all ages.

Please be respectful of the salmon during spawning season — do not disturb the fish or their nesting areas (redds). We are grateful to be part of such a thriving ecosystem and ask that all guests help protect it.

Fishing

Catch-and-release fishing is available on the Eagle River. Please check local Fisheries and Oceans Canada guidelines for current open dates and regulations before heading out.

Water Access — Important Notice

Our creek and river access areas are natural environments with no lifeguards on duty. Water levels, currents, and conditions can change without warning. Please exercise extreme caution near the water at all times, particularly with small children. Swimming, wading, and all water activities are undertaken entirely at your own risk.
